Points Series Overview

Now in its 12th year, our Points Series recognizes the most consistent and competitive hounds in the field. Throughout the season, hounds earn points by placing in qualifying hunts held at our preserve.

At the end of the series, top-performing hounds are invited to our Championship Hunt—where the best of the best come together to compete for top honors.

This is a two-class series:

  • Derby: Hounds under 2 years of age.

  • All Age: Hounds over 2 years of age.

Points are awarded based on Top 20 placement at each qualifying 1-Day Speed & Drive hunt.

For qualifying 1-Day HGA hunts, points are awarded to the Top 15 in Speed & Drive.

Only hounds that have placed at our preserve throughout the season are eligible for the Championship Hunt, held in October.

Owners are responsible for notifying us of any class changes or ownership updates prior to the Championship. To ensure accuracy and timely updates, all Point Series updates must be submitted through the website (Contact Us → “Points Series Update”) or via our official Facebook page.

Please do not send updates by text, call, or through any other method, as these may be missed and cannot be guaranteed to be recorded.
